What will you learn ?
Abdominal palpation : The History, anatomical regions of the abdomen, the different levels of abdominal palpation, basic palpation techniques, abdominal pattern differentiation and constitutional abdomens.
Pulse palpation: The History, positions, how to take the pulse, basic types of pulses.
Observation of the tongue, the different regions and configurations of the body, complexion and constitution.
Practical patient analysis with live clinical cases.
Herb and formula preparation and tasting.

(This seminar is included in the course fee for the students participating in the currently running Jing Fang Courses)
This seminar is only open to Jing Fang or Traditional Chinese herbal medicine students or practitioners.

Observation of the complexions, body configurations and the tongue presentations
• Analysis of the colours and their meanings - tongue, face, skin, nails, hands, legs etc.
• The relationship between the tongue presentations and specific materia medica
• The constitutions
• Group observational practice of the constitutions, complexions, tongue and body configurations by means of comparison

• The pulse positions (cun guan chi) in relation to yin yang and their meaning
