Jing Fang Classics Institute

Jing Fang Classics is an Institute dedicated to the teaching, research and clinical application of the Han dynasty school of medicine, thereby promoting the improvement of public health worldwide and preservation of Prof. Huang Huang's 黄煌 Jing Fang teachings.

Our mission is to transmit the Classical teachings of the Han Dynasty, through a clinical and objective lens, under the guidance of Professor Huang Huang 黄煌.

Recently, there has been great interest in the study of Chinese Herbal medicine which occupies a significant place in the Chinese Medicine repertoire. However, many courses have been created around the world that lack high quality clinical training in the application of the Classics and so, Jing Fang Classics Institute was created from this lacking element, bridging the gap to Classical Chinese Medicine's clinical knowledge and mastery.

With the desire to continue developing the standard of Jing Fang education in Europe, the Jing Fang Classics Institute was created in 2017 together with collaborators Ana Celso and Raquel Filipe, the Jing Fang course in Spanish/Portuguese resumed. From that moment, the teachings of Prof. Huang Huang spread throughout the Latin language world. In 2021, Tara Barden began to collaborate with the Jing Fang Classics Institute, in disseminating the Jing Fang prescription method training to the English language audience, and due to great interest, the English branch was established.
